Power Distribution Units (PDU)

Power Distribution Units (PDU) are critical electrical assemblies used to safely distribute and control high-voltage and low-voltage power between the battery, traction inverter, motor drive, onboard charger, DC/DC converter, HVAC system, and other electrical loads in electric vehicles. EV PDUs typically integrate high-voltage contactors, fuses, relays, pre-charge and discharge circuits, current sensing, busbars, connectors, and protection devices within a compact enclosure. Available in standard, intelligent, and application-specific configurations, PDUs help improve electrical safety, power-management efficiency, system reliability, and integration across electric passenger vehicles, commercial EVs, buses, industrial vehicles, and energy-storage applications.
