About Composite 3D Printers
Composite 3D Printers manufacture high-strength, lightweight components by combining engineering thermoplastics with reinforcing materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, aramid/Kevlar, and other advanced fibers. Depending on the technology, reinforcement can be incorporated as chopped fibers within the filament or deposited as continuous fibers to significantly improve stiffness and mechanical performance. These systems are particularly valuable for producing functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, tooling, robotic components, lightweight structural parts, and end-use components where conventional polymer printing may not provide sufficient mechanical strength.
